Khyentse Yeshe ( Yeshi Silvano Namkhai )
Nato a Tivoli (Roma) nel 1970, da bambino riceve da S.S. Sakya Trizin il nome di Jamyang Chökyi Nyima quando viene riconosciuto reincarnazione di Khyentse Rinpoche Chökyi Wangchug (1910-1959/1960), importante Maestro Dzogchen morto durante l’occupazione cinese del Tibet orientale nonché zio materno di suo padre, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
Yeshi Namkhai cresce ricevendo un’educazione sia cristiana sia buddista, studia filosofia all’Università di Roma e informatica all’Università di Bologna e quindi lavora in diversi settori delle moderne tecnologie applicate al mondo delle aziende.
Nel 2007 si reca in Tibet e accetta la responsabilità di aiutare e supportare il monastero di Khyentse Rinpoche in Tibet centrale.
Dal 2007 in avanti intensifica il suo contributo alla Comunità Dzogchen e, seguendo le istruzioni del suo maestro Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, si dedica interamente alla trasmissione dell’insegnamento così assecondando i desideri e le necessità manifestate dagli studenti della Comunità.
Lo stile di Yeshi Namkhai è diretto e semplice. Il suo linguaggio, del tutto affine alla cultura contemporanea occidentale, incoraggia un interesse fresco e spontaneo verso l’essenza degli insegnamenti buddisti aiutando a scoprire la propria vera natura. Durante gli ultimi anni ha progressivamente intensificato il suo impegno tenendo numerosissime conferenze e sessioni d’insegnamento in Europa, Russia, USA, Sud America e Australia. Collabora attivamente con molte Università, Musei e Istituti in progetti connessi alla cultura tibetana e al Buddhismo.
Khyentse Yeshe, son of the great Dzogchen master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, was born in Rome in 1970, recieved a Western and Buddhist education, studied philosophy and engineering, worked in the area of modern technologies.
H.H. Sakya Trizin has recognized Khyentse Yeshe as the reincarnation of maternal uncle of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu (Khyentse Rinpoche Chökyi Wangchug) and gave him name Jamyang Chökyi Nyima. In 2007 Yeshi visited Central Tibet and made a commitment to support the monastery there.
Recently he is dedicating more and more time for the future of the Dzogchen Community founded by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, following his Teacher and fullfiling the wishes of his students.
Khyentse Yeshe’s style is simple and open, he is arising a lively and natural interest, speaking directly, helping to enter the essence of the buddhist teachings and discover the true nature of everyone.
During the last three years, Khyentse Yeshe gave more than 40 lectures and teachings in Europe, Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Mexico, USA, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina and Australia. Yeshi Silvano Namkhai actively collaborates with many universities, museums and institutes involved in tibetan culture and buddhist knowledge.
